Buses in and around Ajaccio Buses from Ajaccio By train : the railway station is about 200 metres away to the right when facing the town. Train Ajaccio - Corte - Bastia   Transport to and from Bastia (BIA) Airport Transport vers et au départ de l'aéroport de Bastia (BIA)   Bastia town/ville The airport bus will take you to Bastia Préfecture, which is a few hundred yards inland from the Place St Nicolas and the ferry port. Le bus de l'aéroport vous déposera à la Préfecture, à quelques centaines de mêtres de la Place St Nicolas et de la Gare maritime. Bastiabus This bus will drop you off at the "Gare routière" close to the Place St Nicolas and the ferry terminal. Ce bus vous déposera à la "Gare routière" tout près de la Place St Nicolas et la Gare maritime. Lucciana bus By taxi Airport taxis: +33 (0) 495 360465   Southbound / Vers le sud By taxi to Casamozza (approx. 20 euros) for a train or bus connection. N.B. Casamozza is tiny and has no facilities. If you have a long wait, prefer Bastia which has plenty to offer. En taxi vers Casamozza (env. 20 euros) pour une correspondance train ou bus. N.B. Casamozza n'est qu'un hameau. Si vous devez attendre longtemps, il serait plus agréable d'aller jusqu'à Bastia où vous trouverez de quoi vous occuper. Airport taxis: +33 (0) 495 360465 By train On foot towards the main road, 2-3 km from the airport, the road goes over the railway track. Turn left BEFORE the railway bridge, towards the Lucciana secondary school. You will reach the Lucciana request stop. You should make very definite signs to the train for it to stop. This solution is NOT recommended. It is better to go to Casamozza by taxi. Par le train A pied vers la nationale, 2-3 km de l'aéroport, la route passe au-dessus de la voie du chemin de fer. AVANT de traverser le pont du chemin de fer, il faut tourner à gauche en direction du Collège de Lucciana et l'arrêt facultatif de Lucciana. Il faudrait bien signaler au conducteur pour demander un arrêt. Cette solution N'EST PAS recommandée. Il vaudrait mieux aller à Casamozza en taxi. Train timetables / Horaires train By bus None of the southbound buses call directly at the airport. You will need to reach the Crucetta crossroads (3km away on the N193) where you will be able to board southbound buses. En bus Aucun des services bus vers le sud ne passe par l'aéroport. Il vous faudra rejoindre le carrefour de Crucetta qui se trouve à 3km sur la RN193 où vous trouverez l'arrêt des services bus vers le sud. Buses from Bastia / Services bus au départ de Bastia   Coming from the south / Venant du sud By bus In July and August, the Porto Vecchio bus can drop you off directly at the airport En juillet et août, le bus venant de Porto Vecchio a l'autorisation de vous déposer à l'aéroport. Porto Vecchio - Bastia   Transport to and from Bastia ferry port Transport vers et au départ du port de Bastia   Bastia town/ville On foot : The ferry port is right in the centre of town, just opposite the Place St Nicolas and the Tourist office. A pied : Le port de commerce se trouve en plein centre ville, en face de la place St Nicolas et l'Office de tourisme.     Ajaccio / Calvi / Corte / St Florent, etc. By bus : Many of the buses leave from the Gare routière which is in fact a small side street, Rue du nouveau port, close to the Place St Nicolas and the Tourist Office. Others leave from the round-about close to the train station and some leave from the Tribunal, which is at the top of Boulevard Paoli, the main shopping street of Bastia. It will take you in 5-10 min. to the Place de la Porteuse d'eau, bus departure point. En bus: Suivre la rue qui longe le quai de plaisance. En 5-10 minutes vous atteindrez la place de la porteuse d'eau, point de départ des bus Bus départ Calvi By train: Walk along back along the one-way street which follows the quayside. Just before the Place de la Porteuse d'eau, you will see the train station to your left. En train: Suivre la rue qui longe le quai de plaisance. Juste avant la place de la porteuse d'eau, vous remarquerez la gare vers la gauche. A pied : environ 600 mètres jusqu'au centre ville.     Calvi / Bastia By train : about 300 metres inland from the port. The building has no marking but is the typical French station building and stands at the first road junction you come to. En train : environ 300 mètres du port en direction de la ville.
