Read more about the arrival of the AMG800 with photographs of the transfer by crane onto the tracks of Ajaccio station. The AMG800s were put into service in April 2009 but, due to premature wear of wheel bearings and brakes as well as fears for the safety of the air-conditioning system, they were withdrawn in February 2010 pending further tests and, presumably, modifications.	Renseignements sur l'arrivée des AMG800 (avec photos du transfert par grue sur les voies) et leur mise en service. Les AMG800 ont été utilisés à partir d'avril 2009 mais, du fait de l'usure prématurée des roulements et des freins, ainsi que des craintes concernant la sécurité du système de climatisation, ils ont été retirés du réseau en février 2010 en attendant d'autres tests et, l'on peut supposer, des modifications.

The rectified AMG800s will be available on certain services from December 2011. Passengers will gain in comfort but not in speed: it will still take 3h45 to reach Bastia from Ajaccio. The Corsican Territorial Authority hopes that travel time will be reduced to 3 hours within the next two years.	Les AMG800 revus et corrigés reprendront du service à partir de décembre 2011. Le passager gagnera en confort mais pas en rapidité: le trajet Bastia-Ajaccio durera toujours 3h45. La Collectivité territoriale de la Corse a comme objectif de réduire cette durée de trajet à 3 heures d'ici deux ans.
Whenever the train is replaced by a substitute bus service, this will run according to the train timetable but along the main road where you will find the "CFC" signposted stops.	Lorsqu'un service train est remplacé par un service bus celui-ci empruntera, bien entendu, la route nationale où vous trouverez les arrêts marqués "CFC".

The "Tramway de la Balagne" is a seasonal service normally operating from mid-April till around middle of October or early November/	Le "Tramway de la Balagne" est un service saisonnier entre (normalement) la mi-avril et la mi-octobre ou début novembre.
All other train services as well as the Suburban tramway between Bastia and Casamozza and the Suburban service between Mezzana and Ajaccio operate all year round. It is worth noting that, although trains generally leave on time, there are often delays on the journey. These may be caused by fallen branches, cattle on the line, waiting at a passing place for the train coming from the opposite direction, possibly by forest fires, etc. etc.	Il faut noter que les horaires de départ sont généralement bien respectés mais des retards peuvent survenir pendant le voyage pour cause d'attente pour croiser le train venant de l'autre direction, incendies, des vaches en divagation, des branches d'arbres tombées sur la ligne, etc. etc.
